I choose to operate independently, focusing mainly on private sessions. No group lessons? Nah... 1 kite + 3 students = waiting 40 minutes for every hour that you book. I don't like those numbers, do you? 1-on-1 is safer, more efficient & more fun for both you and your coach. Mutual trust & confidence are key when learning to ride. My personal approach also means that you get the same coach every session, so no switching in between. I monitor your progression closely, so we always pick up where we've left off.
Are you ready to take the challenge?
Your Kite Coach is Level 2 qualified IKO instructor, as well as a teacher with years of relevant experience! I have a Bachelor's degree in Sports & Education, which I paired with a minor in Product Design. I'm driven by action and innovation and I think kiteboarding is the best of both worlds. After graduation, instead of getting a job in the educational system, I decided to follow my passion. Through KC, I dedicate my teaching knowledge & experience to sharing this amazing sport with you. Your kiteboarding adventure deserves a head start, don't you think?
Booking a KC session means that you get exactly what you pay for: Coaching & Gear. Note that booking a double isn't twice the price. After all, it's still one kite and one coach, only now shared with a buddy. Sounds reasonable, right? Hold up, no package deals? Nope! A satisfied customer is a customer that returns and I feel confident about my coaching. Fair pricing also means setting realistic expectations. Everyone can learn kiteboarding, but each one's learning curve is unique. I consider my job done when you are able to ride with confidence.
= fair pricing
Your Kite Coach is flexible! Thanks to Urban Arrow, instead of having to settle for a fixed location on the beach, I operate out of an electric cargo bike. This means that we are free to choose any spot along the Hague's North Sea shore. We determine the right spot together, depending on your level and the weather conditions. As I'm a coach and not a school, I do not have a set schedule! In other words, your Kite Coach keeps things simple: we kite if it's windy and when you're available. On a budget, but still want private coaching? Timeshare is the most economical option out there. You share the credit within a group of 2-5 riders. More riders = lower pricing. Sharing is caring!

The Zandmotor is the ideal kiteboarding spot, featuring flat water and reliable wind coming in straight from the North Sea. This is no secret of course, therefore the spot can be pretty crowded from time to time. This is something to take into consideration, especially on low tide, when the spot is a lot smaller. On high tide, it's a kiteboarder's paradise!

This is by far the most beautiful spot on the shore line of The Hague. It is the located on the edge of the city's largest natural dune reserve. It is also the least crowded spot, especially in low season. So, if you decide to go kiting here, make sure you have a buddy. Parking space is very limited, but there's a great connection to public transport. Don't go by car.

This spot is located on the south side of the harbour. It is pretty populair among wave riders and surfers, the swell is pretty good from time to time. Make sure to stay well clear of the pier though, especially in side shore winds. It is also a great ending point for downwinders. There's a large parking area and there are a couple of beach clubs as well, mostly family orientated.

Situated on the far north side of the The Hague, this spot is known for its many beach clubs. Go here and combine your session with some good food & music for after! There's wide array of venues to choose from, from lazy summer vibes by day to full-on techno parties in the weekends. The kiting area starts after the last club (Down Under) from where the sailing boats are lined up.
